After entering the media industry she earned her Master of Business Administration.[2]

Career[edit]

Her first recognition was as a television news presenter at the Tamil news channel Puthiya Thalaimurai[3] News Channel. She also worked as a serial actress in Star Vijay Television's Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai.[1][4]

In 2017, she made her film debut with Meyaadha Maan opposite Vaibhav Reddy. The film which was produced by Karthik Subbaraj received generally positive reviews. [5][6]

The following year, Priya appeared in the Pandiraj directorial Kadaikutty Singam alongside Karthi which also ended up as a profitable venture. [7][8]

In 2019, she starred in Monster alongside S. J. Suryah. [9]

Her only film release in 2020 was Mafia: Chapter 1 directed by Karthick Naren and starring Arun Vijay and Prasanna in the main lead roles. [10] She also appeared in the Amazon Prime web series Time Enna Boss. [11]
